| Dimension Control Panel - AutoCAD 2000 and up
only
I've tried to put everything that I do with dimensions on a day-to-day basis in one place - Dimension Control Panel. It will change dimension variables and display format variables by changing entries in the dialog and picking the "OK" button. It will also update dimensions by changing entries in the dialog box, picking the "Update" button, and selecting the dimensions to be updated. If you pick the "Reset original Dimvars after update" toggle before the "Update" button, it will do dimension overrides and return to the original settings. If you pick the "Cancel" button at anytime it will return all dimension variables to their original settings. by Russ Steffy

| AutoLay[2].Lsp | AutoLay[2].Lsp
This program automatically creates and switches to layers for dimensions, text hatches and viewports, then restores the layers to their previous states when the command has ended. It also turns off the "Hidden" layer when hatching and turns off the "Hatch" layer when dimensioning. Or it's supposed to anyway! For Autocad 2000x written by Eric Schneider, Reno, NV |

HowFar Free Open Code Version
You will be prompted to pick two points. After picking the two points the DCL box will come up and show the distance in five different modes Decimal, Fractional, Engineering, Architectural, and Metric. It displays the distance between Pt1 and Pt2 and the X and Y value of each mode. It also shows the Angle between Pt1 and Pt2 in nearest degree, deg\min\sec and degree decimal. written by Richard Sandgren |
