In Memory of Billie Wolfe, Founder of the National Windmill Project and former Texas Tech professor for 21 years. She died Monday February 24, 1997 at the age of 83. "Although the local windmill museum she hoped for hasn't been built, she accomplished her lifelong dream of establishing the collection." (Lubbock Avalanche Journal Feb.26,1997)
