Removed from the EMS?     How to manage the SPAUG-EMS in Outlook?


Removed from the EMS?

If you have signed up for the SPAUG-EMS but are not receiving it, please check the list below to see if your name is listed.
If you see your name listed below, to resolve the problem, click HERE and fill out the "Change of Address Form"
If your name is listed, you have been removed from the list so as not to interrupt service to working addresses.
If you missed any messages due to an ISP server problem, let me know what days you missed and I will resend those messages.

How to manage the SPAUG-EMS in Outlook?

 

1. Click on your Inbox and select Rules Wizard... from the Options pull-down or by hitting on the Advanced Toolbar.

2. Click the New... button

3. Click Next > to accept "Check messages when they arrive".
4. Scroll down and select "with specific words in the subject", but don't hit Next yet. Click on specific words in the lower section titled Rule description.
5. Now type SPAUG-EMS in the Add new: box, then hit the Add button then the OK button.
6. Your dialog box should now look like this. Hit the Next > button to continue.
7. Check the first box called "move it to the specified folder", but don't hit Next yet. Click on specified in the lower section titled Rule description.
8. You will now see the following dialog. Click on the New... button to create a subfolder under the Inbox. Make sure the Inbox is highlighted first.
9. Type SPAUG in the Name: box, then hit OK.
10. Your dialog should now look like the following. You can now just hit Finish, then OK to close the first dialog.

That's all there is to it. Now all your SPAUG-EMS messages will be put in the SPAUG folder under the Inbox.
